Hello Troops!


On the SECOND FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH, the San Antonio Outpost of Guerrilla Queer Bar “invades” a local STRAIGHT BAR between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. to spread fabulousness, mirth, and cold hard cash. GQB is a social event open to all Queer Folk and their cool, straight friends.


Here’s how it works. Each person who’s registered with the Facebook group will receive a TROOP ALERT a day or two before each month’s second-Friday GQB Invasion. The Troop Alert will have a link to invadeSA.com identifying the location of that month’s GQB invasion and the “uniform” for that month (e.g., Invasion of Swig; wear Green). Each month GQB will invade a different bar.


GQB originated in San Francisco (where else?) and has spread to about two dozen cities. Enlist in the San Antonio Outpost of GQB! Join this group, mark your calendar for each second Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m., and watch your email each second Thursday for your Troop Alert!
